Sunblock/lotion

Any ideas how easy is it to find suncream in India (particularly Delhi)?
I'd be looking for factor 30 or above, not particularly worried how much it costs (though I'm guessing under 300rs) but more that it's reliable
Any info would be great, hoping that I won't need to bring 6 months worth of suncream

I never use sunblock and wasn't really searching for it. But I did inspect the contents of a lot of those "little shops" while looking for shampoo and don't recall ever seeing it.

If you do take it, be sure to put it in double plastic bag; I once had a tube open in a suitcase and it got all over everything. (Wasn't mine; was taking it for a friend).

Yeah, that's part of the reason I don't want to pack 6 mths worth
It doesn't take up -that- much space, but the more tubes I take, the higher the chance of one exploding on a bus trip!

Guerik - if you seriously want to protect your skin (and you should), you should consider that the sunscreen industry in Australia is highly regulated , ie. products have to be tested and reach a given standard before they are allowed to be sold. For this reason I suggest bringing it from home. As you are Australian you will have seen thousand of people with scars from having cancers cut out. Not a good look..

Including my Dad I'm sad to say - the reason that I wouldn't consider going without knowing it was available.
Good point about the industry regulation, I might just bring heaps and stash some somewhere instead. Thanks guys

I've not looked for it in Delhi, but I'm sure it would be there, especially in those small sell everything convienience type stores around the tourist/backpacker areas.
Goa sells ot everywhere, all factors good price,,,,,,,,,,
