Sugar cane juice

Hi I saw the thread on lime juice, and thought I should start a thread on Sugar cane juice. Sugar cane juice freshly pressed, with a hint of lime juice and black salt is also very tasty. Just make sure that vendor selling the juice is keeping the surroundings clean (as disease spreading flies are plenty at these stalls) try not to go for the ice (as that too is not clean). These days some restaurants and multiplexes sell sugar cane juice that is made under clean conditions.
Another drink that all tourists should try is the fresh narial (coconut) paani (water), which is very good, and if you ask for narial paani with malai, they will pick out the tenderest of the coconuts, which have lot of water and some delicious cocunut meat which can be very satisfying!

Heat !

Note that while Yummy, sugar cane juice also heats up your body, so if you have large quantities - like 5 glasses - ensure you also have sufficient coolers like cucumber or curd.
