Steripen UV Light/ Water Purification: Tried it?
I'm curious to see if anyone has tried the Steripen. Camelgirl has mentioned this device in the Drinking Water-Beach Shacks thread.
It sounds too good to be true: makes tap water safe to drink with the use of UV light. The website, including the research (at least the research they provide) looks really good. Having travelled around India when Bisleri was the one of the only bottled waters, and few plastic garbage bottles to be found, compared to how it is today, I'd surely invest in this product if it really does what it says. |
