Spiders are familial...they follow their adopted masters wherever.

It is just as well you're not coming to the next meetup! But I will catch up with you one day... *shakes fist*

trick is to dust the rooms and especially the ceilings, nooks and corners very regularly.
I was thinking of perhaps a very small electric fence...

The same thing happened to my partner, bit scary at the time .We didn't see the creature that caused it but a spider was the main suspect .All was sorted though ,found the nearest medical store
and was supplied with the correct medication .All that is left now is the scar .
As has been said before ,check shoes and clothes .A good sign is a lizard or two in the room ,they tend to keep other little beasties away ,friends

I was staying in Madurai in O. Siruvayal village and I swear I saw the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life. When I turned the light on there it was above my bed. It was black and had the longest legs ive ever seen. The body wasnt huge but its legs were nasty and boney looking. I would say leg to leg it was about 6 inches long. I wish I had known what type of spider it was. All I know is they killed it real fast but low and behold there was another the next day and the next... I swear there was a nest and I had to keep running out yelling ettu kaal poochi so they would save me! I would love to find out what type it was.....

woah, woah.......centipedes!!!
Should see the size of 'pedes in Toronto!! At least 4-5" long, and bright orange!
Was practicing my sax one time, during summer - and for the first time ever, could manage a really breathy subtone (ok, sax players will appreciate this) - then, when I'd finished, up-ended my sax to let the condensation (+spit) out....and a huge centipede fell out of the bell......I shouted at it, but it was deaf by then, and it definitely had a limp.........
...which segues nicely into.....
"....blame it on the bug-ee...."

Mind you, they do a great job of keeping the roaches at bay!

Spiders now - wow!....never seen such big spiders as in San Diego, or even in Cardiff, UK.
Thumbnail size I can deal with.......4" across.......???.....I've torn down bookcases and ripped up baseboards to hunt 'em down like dawgs!!
