Unhappy Safety.

With all the terrorist activities going on in the world today, does anyone feel unsafe travelling in India. We travel to Bali quite a bit but don't feel unsafe. Our next big holiday will be in Goa, it is unknown territory. I suppose with that statement, I have just answered my own question. Maybe unsure of the unknown?
Any views on this subject?

I have never felt unsafe in India, but then in the present world climate who knows!! I take the attitude there really is'nt anything I can do to take precautions against this, so I leave it up to fate or karma as you will!!
It's a crying shame that we live in a world where we are forced to think this way!!

I'm an Aussie living in Andhra Pradesh and have very few safety concerns. I have my 2 children here also, if I felt there was any risk we'd be back in Oz in the blink of an eye.

However, we feel it's important to stay away from crowded areas, especially if there are going to be a lot of expats/tourists there. This is also the advice we receive from the consulate on occasion.

But, as Cyberhippie says, you only live once, so if you think the small risk is acceptable go for it.
