Safety
At the Mom's request - how safe is travelling between Delhi and Jaipur? Can we make train / hotel reservations ourselves?
Are guides necessary? |

Travel between the two cites is very safe. Only problems would be touts at each end trying to talk you into the Hotel of "their" choice. Other than that no problems. Fairly easy trek.
Hotel and train reservations can be made yourself without the need for a guide. Though five years ago, the last time I spent some time in Jaipur I did hire a car and a guide to take me through the city. It was was money well spent as I got to see more of the city than I would have by myself. Cheers Mike |
