Road Kill or Medivac

Scenario: you are travelling in India carrying full Monty travel medical insurance for Western standard hospital care, and jet or helicopter medivac as required.

You are in a road accident in rural India and seriously injured but able to think and to speak. There are English speakers among the crowd.

Question: what is the best way to proceed to ensure something like good ambulance transport to a top quality hospital?

Is it possible to get helicopter medivac in India? Perhaps by requisitioning a military aircraft?

What actually happens to Western road accident victims? Does anyone here know of any case histories?

get thee to the nearestand/or best hotel in town if the town has no hospital, and have them arrange medical care. I was saved from death that way once 100 KM from any decent hospital.
