Rabies???
We are heading to India for 2 months from March to May and are considering having rabies vaccinations. We need 3 vaccinations and at $110 each I'm not too keen on forking out the money if it is unnecesary.
What do you think about rabies vaccinations? Are they necessary? thanks for your help!! |

Unless you're going way way way off the beaten track then most people don't bother, any suspect dog would be killed by locals immediately it showed signs, Bats & Monkeys.Ummm, take your chance.
If you put 'rabies' in our search box theres a couple of threads. |

I was worried about this went I went this year as I was going to be spending time with womeone who looks after street dogs in Chennai.
She assured me that it is very rare there. Disclaimer: 3rd-hand information.... your decision.
