Hi
I am off to Goa for a month early in the New Year.Apart from other Immunisations they say Rabies and Yellow fever should be considered. What is the view of you hardened Travellers?

Goa is well served with good hospitals, so I would say just don't bother with these two immunisations.
A yellow fever out break is uncommon to say the least and if your bitten by a dog get yourself down to the nearest hospital and start that lovely course of jabs!!
Really there is no need for these two jabs and I say that with consience!!

Happy traveling

You only need Yellow fever if you're coming FROM an infected country.
India does not. It's mostly found in S.America and Africa.

You've more chance of being attacked by a crocodile in Goa than a Rabid dog. At the first sign of a mad dog it would be killed by the locals. You'll find the local dogs very tourist friendly, feed them once & they'll stick with you for a fortnight,,,,,,,,,,,,

I've had Hep A,Tetanus/Diptheria,Typhoid and disgusting tasting polio drops on the tongue. You also need anti-malaria tabs.
