Hellow doctor,
i'm here with moy caps problem. I was capped over 2 front upper jaw teeth wich were irregular in shape bout 6/7 months before. Moy gum was bit lifted up due to da placement n was told to massage it regularly to get it back in shape. But it hasn't come down yet, giving the look of the teeth different, n for few months i'm noticing da caps are moving slightly n at times i feel pain near da gum. I really don't knoe if these are natural, or i shud consult a good dentist in moy area! but i want to knoe, if these are not any good symtoms, do i need to remove the old ones n recap or is dere any oder option? i'll be looking forward for yor reply, thank you, God bless.

Serpent... the doc hasn't been around on the board much for a while.

Internet opinions, even from qualified people, are no substitute for a dentist being able to see your teeth.

Hope you get your teeth fixed ok.

does this tooth need pulled

Hi doc,
About a year ago I had a cavity, it was repaired with a stainless steel crown, now it hurts real bad, even to touch the tooth. And hot or cold makes it hurt real bad. Will it maybe die in another week, and stop hurting, or will it need to be pulled. I think one or two more days and I'll have it pulled. Can not afford a root canal here. Thanks

Please see the post before yours.

Even as a non-medical person, it seems obvious to me that you need treatment, not the internet.

Please, go get it seen to before that infection spreads.

I may not be a medical man, but I've had plenty tooth abcesses... It won't heal. It may, if you are lucky, subside for a while, and a course of the right antibiotic should make that happen, but it'll be back.

One of my dentists swore by hot salty water as the first-line treatment...

not sure if this is still active as it is an old thread i have been travelling for a few months around the world and havtnt had chance to go to the dentists im going to india in July and was thinking of getting sorted there as i would imagine it would be cheaper than australia where i have been and a lot cleaner etc... than south america, i have had a filling come out and could also do with a whitening any ideas how much this would cost in somewhere like Delhi, Agra or Chenai?

No worries saw above comments
