Private Health Insurance (India)

I am moving to India and am looking to obtain private health insurance. So far I have found ICICI Lombard, but, their policies seem limited. Does anyone know of any ohter policies.

Not sure if this will be of any help but thought I would just give you my experience. I am a UK national currently living and working in India and I took out Private Medical Insurance with BUPA International.

I had to be hospitalised for a week last year and BUPA handled everything really well and would recommend them.

We have been using William Russell for years and have made several claims which were handled very well.

It is a UK based company but they appear to accept anybody who pays.

I try to compare every year their cost and coverage versus those of other insurance companies and every year they come out as best even though, much to my annoyance

they increase their fees every year.

If you have come across of better policies I will be keen to hear it.
