Pregnancy and Visiting India
I am curious about the ramifications of living in India during the first and part of the second trimester of pregnancy? The situation is in-laws and their endless hospitality vs. a doctor whom I know isn't a quack. My doctor's opinion is very biased it seems, slanted away from uprooting one's self from their natural environment (eek, as if humans are unadaptable animals!). There once was a thread on this topic here but I can't find it. That topic dealt with the 3rd trimester and getting shots, but the shots have been administered. So I'm less interested in travel during latter stages of pregnancy, since we plan to be back home for the actual delivery. Anyone know someone in a similar situation?
PS - I wanna verify that I'm asking on behalf of my sister! Last edited by genevieve_lalune : Oct 20th, 2005 at 06:48. Reason: edited for much needed clarity! |
