Pre-trip organisation

With just over 2 weeks to go before flying out to India, I'm starting to feel like I've forgotten something. Have tickets, a visa (although I did have a phone call from the Indian High Commission here questioning the state of my passport - I accidentally sent it to a laundry in Ecuador last year and it looks seriously dodgy), will sort out some insurance this week, and will get some traveller's cheques after my next pay day. Am I forgetting something or am I just being paranoid?

That's the major stuff that you need, don't forget to make photocopies of all those documents, one for yourself and one for a relative or friend.

Also a waterproof passport holder should be on your list.
