Overweight in Ladakh
Hi wondered if anyone has any experience of being overweight in Ladakh? Just wondered how you coped in general, have been ok in similar altitudes but think there will be a lot more exercise involved in this holiday. (Please don't suggest dieting, been there, tried that!
) Thanks |

On the positive side , I always lose around 10 % of my weight when I go to Ladakh. The flip side is that you will feel shorter of breath at first , esp. when sitting or lying down.

Not a big problem, just that you will get out of breath more sooner than the skinnier ones
