Natural Remedies?
Hi
Has anyone travelled India just using a homeopathic kit and without vaccinations. I am aware of all risks and diseases but not convinced about taking vaccinations which are made standard by multi-corpo drugs companies! Any positive feedback on this would be great. Thanks! |

I knew a couple of Germans that tried this to cure Hepatitis in place of medical assistance. It worked for one. The other drowned in his own vomit..

perhaps it's because i don't know a lot about vaccinations/diseases etc, but what is the problem with taking the normal vaccinations? i can't see how alternative medicine can deal with diseases as hardcore as you can get in india. those diseases can be potentially fatal - i know i certainly would not take so many risks with my health!!!

ive been to india twice and never had vaccinations. I have had one case of delhi bely on a train on the awy to Hampi. There i consulted a homeopathic physician, and was fixed up in a day.
This time(november) i will be taking Arsenicum album, the main homeopathic remedy for delhi belly. http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/home...pathTravel.htm Be sure to avoid eating station cooked food. I had eaten a samosa, which must have been undercooked. For any feverish illness, the best remedy is Boneset( a herb) in tinctur form, available at any good homeopathist. http://www.herbs2000.com/herbs/herbs_boneset.htm Ignore the mockery from those who prefer drugs. |

Brilliant Baldy, now I didn't mean that the way it sounded, I am also a big fan of Himalaya. They provide some idea of the research conducted and have the cleanest stores in India. I like going there just to relieve some of the culture shock. Buy it in India because it is multiples of the price in the US..

Maybe you were lucky. Dehli Belly is not an infectious disease though. People must weigh up the risks themselves. ![]() |
