mosquitoes... the rajasthani ones

hi,
i read a post on this forum from a few weeks ago about how the floods in rajasthan brought on a crazy mosquito raid and a malaria outbreak. is this still the case?
i plan to go to jaisalmer tomorrow. i don't usually get bitten very much, so i don't bother with most of the precautions, but if there's some extra-ordinary situation i don't mind postponing my visit...
anyone there?

to reply to my own post... i'm in jaisalmer now. there's the odd mosquito here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary, and it doesn't seem to be an issue...
