I've just bought a net (http://www.outdoorgear.co.uk/eshop.a...+MOSQUITO+NET), the cheapest I could find on the net. 8.99 for a single, 9.99 for a double. This is actually a good site for other stuff, quick delivery and reasonable prices for loads of travel stuff.

Not sure it's the best design, but saved myself £10 on the other web prices around.

I know I'm repeating myself from previous postings about nets but here goes anyway: Check out

www.longroad.com

I have the Skeeter Defeater and the Travel Tent. Just got back from a month in Sri Lanka and took the skeeter defeater. Didn't need it but was really glad to have it, just in case and it only weighs one pound, less than 1/2 a kg. I Will still take it to India, which I hope will be this year also.

I took Larium and no problems/side effects. Used sunblock with mosquito repellant in it, as well as a low concentration Deet for night, since we ate most of our meals outside. I didn't get any mosquito bites, which just amazed me. Malaria and Dengue are a big problem in most of Sri Lanka, so I really tried to be concientious about putting on the repellant. Met a really nice English guy who was just getting over Dengue, down in the beach area of Hikkadua. He said it's the worst he ever felt in his life!
