What variations of net are available in India? Which features would you recommend? Any ideas on the cost range? Thank you.

mosquitos
The best options against bites is "all out". You put the bottle with liquid into a small instrument and plug it on. If you are staying somewhere without electricity, the coils are o.k. I found nets always very uncomfortable against mosquitos as at least one always finds the way in.

On a different perspective from Gerlinde, I should say that I never use a coil or heated pad if I can use a net. On a recent trip with three weeks in Goa, I had no mosquitos that got in my net. But you need to be systematic when bedding down, then check it again after going out for a piss at 4am.
In the monsoon, a net is better than any alternative if you have your bed under a fan. I bought a single bed net in Margao last year for INR250, but the prices went up for a lighter weave, wider and even double - up to around INR450. ![]() |

Sanjay have you read the rules on copy and paste or more to the point about copyright???
If it ain't written by you then at least quote the website or body you copied it from. And by the way the bit you chose to copy is incomplete as it only tells half the story about chloroquinine resistance!! |
