Massage in Udaipur?

I've noticed an endless number of signs for massage in Udaipur and am wondering if anyone has gotten one here and also if anyone knows of a place where women do the massage. Also, any idea on what it should cost? Thanks for your help.

I couldn't find any places with women doing the massages when I was there last month....though there was one VERY dodgy looking guy...long hair and glasses a la Forest Gump era, who seemed to be itching to get his hands on me. Not that that's any help to you sorry, but if you see him you will instantly know who I'm talking about!! and run!! or walk...fast!!

The Lonely Planet recommends Ayurvedic Body Shop, 39 Lal Ghat tel. 5120802....45 min full body massage rs500

Banyan Tree Spa at Oberoi Udaivilas offers several massage options (including Ayurvedic), but it'll cost ya:

I've stayed at that hotel many yrs ago when a relative worked there and got me an excellent deal. At the time it was women who did the massage, so unless that's changed..

As for cost, expect to pay ~ INR2500/hr.

I had a massage at the Tiger Spa last January. I think this is what it was called... it's opposite the Gangaur Palace and Edelweiss Cafe. I paid around Rs. 700 for 45 mins., full body massage. It was done by a woman.
I can't really recommend it, though. The tape recorder with the "relaxing music" was squeaking, and the massage room was near the reception such that one could hear people talking all the time... This is why it was not all that relaxing.

I had a look at the spa on Jagmandir island but didn't go eventually because it was forbiddingly expensive. But I'm sure that it would have been the ultimately relaxing experience!!! On Jagmandir, women treat women.
