Yes - it's a large clinic with a TB specialist and a dentist - and it's in a nice area (Juhu) ... but there's also plenty of small 'villages' around where I live.

And Capt - I normally have (healthy) low blood pressure as I'm a regular runner .... but not that low .... it normally reaches my head!

Glad to know you are taking medical advice and, hopefuly, getting what's needed.

Blood pressure was 80/70 ..... I don't think my blood was getting above neck level

Good grief! In February mine went a bit lower than that and I spent 5 days in hospital -- 3 of 'em in intensive care.

Please, do be careful and get this cleared up right away!

WW, my thoughts too, but FOTM did address that, though it still makes me uneasy.

Bjorn Borg had a pulse rate of 36 or something, if I remember right.. maybe FOTM is one of those

Actually, FOTM's low blood pressure was probably caused by low blood volume (hypovolemia), which can result from loss of fluids due to diarrhea (among other causes, e.g., just plain hemorrhaging). Hypovolemia often causes dizziness and light-headedness, and also often causes the pulse rate to go up, not down, as the blood volume drops. Hypovolemia is serious and requires a doctor's attention! It can cause major organ damage and ultimately death! So don't monkey around with this or treat it cavalierly.

That's it! My mind's made up. I am going to my doc's house and staying put or buy a house next to his, which might make him move .
