yes, that IS an excellent website, I did not read that part that you linked.

I'm leaning toward malarone, as taking a 2 month regimen of doxy. (you have to take it for a month after your return) does not sit well with me, i.e., taking an antibiotic for so long (will kill all the good germs, too = yeast infection!). Taking an anti-malarial doesn't sit well with me either, but I'm weighing the pros and cons, since I am a mosquito magnet, even here in Illinois (and we have West Nile virus....)

Sorry I meant pills, not shots. I don't bother with the pills, or shots or whatever they are so I don't even know what kind of IMHO over cautious precautions people take to avoid malaria, which as I said in my OP is just one of the 583721685 things that can kill you in Inida. Malaria just happens to be low on my worry list (now watch me get malaria and die next trip), my actual chances of getting infected with malaria are very low. As I said, I just use other methods that involve "not getting bit". I think I have about as much chance as getting hit by lighting as getting malaria if I use the "not getting bit" program, so I don't worry about the pills.
