malarone in india?
does anyone know if malarone is available in india, or thailand for that matter. i searched and found a post from late 2003 saying it was not yet available but was wondering if this has changed. i would really like to travel with malarone but would rather not have to pay for 2 months' worth. thanks.

Whilst I can't answer your question, I've read that Malarone should only be used for up to 30 days.

Apparently, it is a choice by the manufacturer, probably sensible, not to risk the patent situation by selling in India so it is very unlikely you will get it in India unless someone brings it in. My understanding on the long term use is that it hasn't been tested for that yet, not that there is any contraindications from use..
