Malaria tablets in April?
We're going to India from 12 April to 30 April 2006. We're flying into Delhi and we'll be in Rhajastan and then either go down to Kerala or Goa and finally fly out of Bombay. What are the particular hotspots for malaria or am I being naive and I need to take malaria tablets regardless anyway? Any help would be much appreciated.

Quoting the WHO figures "malaria is present in one form or another in 93% of the country, the incidence rate varies but only the high Himalaya is truly free of the parasite!!
If you decide you don't want to use pills, don't do it because you think you'll be in areas where there is no Malaria. |

Just came back from Rajasthan and there were a lot of mosqitos. I usually do not take any tablets but perhaps have to change my mind in the future. The son of my neighbourg had malaria and was suffering from it while I was visiting them. It is a serious illness.
