I am also interested in getting laser surgery done, but I have quite a few doubts about the whole thing. If I do get it done in India, I'd prefer it done in a big reputed hospital, rather than in some small family-clinic. A private clinic would be more dependable on the eye laser surgery for their living...I am not sure if they would be able to give me an honest advise on whether my eyes are suitable for eye surgery.
What's the name of that famous eye hospital in Tamil Nadu? (supposedly one of the best in Asia). Did anybody get their eyes lasered there? Reading the stories in this thread is making me doubt the surgery even more. I will be moving to India in December. I am wondering whether living in a 'dusty' enviroment, such as the cities in India (Bangalore in my case), will affect my eyes even more, once I get eye laser surgery done. |
