keeping glaucoma meds cold??

I suffer from glaucoma and I need to keep one of my sets of drops (Allergan by Alphagan) below a certain temp. I am going to Kerala Dec/Jan and need to find out if my particular drops are available over the counter. If so, I will just have to buy new drops every week, to try and keep the contents viable. Unless anyone has any bright ideas on keeping them cool 24/7??

Yes they are available - over the counter and very cheap too + you don't need a prescription!!! I packed my drops in the middle of my clothes to keep them cool. Mine lasted a month and the drops didn't go cloudy keeping them away from direct light and in a cool place. Enjoy your trip!!

There's a device being marketed to diabetics to keep insulin cold that should work for your eye drops (which I am taking right now after cataract surgery, but nobody told me to keep them cold)!

The "thing" is called Frigo and it's a sort of wallet that works on evaporation process and should work for you if you can find it in your area; I know it's available in the US. Try Googling for it!
