u did a mistake by asking a driver for medicine , dont repeat the mistake again & consult a doctor.............. in the mean time you can have a tab avil which is anti allergic & no side effects.

I guess with 'a dr' she meant a doctor, not a driver...

A tampon dipped into fresh natural yoghurt. Others also try garlic. ;-)
Avoid sugar and alcohol. The fungus loves this!

...If you are so sensitive, then stop reading this thread!

Must admit, yoghurt (internally and externally ...err, sort-of-semi-externally) was the first thing that occurred to me.

Besides yoghurt (apply internally) a common household remedy is douching with a vinegar solution. I hear even lemon juice may help. Read around some on the vinegar as I don't know how diluted it should be. A google search on +"yeast infection" +vinegar yields tons of results, the first one saying "One tablespoon of vinegar to one quart of water, once a day. Especially effective when used with yogurt suppositories" but don't take their word for it please.

Lemmon is also a great spermicide apparently, it has been historically used as a contraceptive in the mediteranian. It has also been recently discovered that even a 20% solution will kill many viruses (including AIDS). Not sure how you would apply it though. I would think it would sting!!

I read about the work of a some AIDS researchers into the topic, they called themselves the Lemmonaids (I know, i know, How sad!!!).

Seriously, the research was done by a respected Australian academic

Playing the devil's advocate maybe but please note:

Quote:
However, [Julian Meldrum, international editor of Aidsmap] said: "There is not yet enough evidence that this will be safe and effective in practice.

"Before anyone goes around promoting this as an idea, we need proper, thoroughly carried out studies.

"We also need to examine whether it is safe to put what is quite a strong acid into contact with mucus membranes which are quite delicate."
btw With claims such as

Quote:
"About 300 years ago, Mediterranean women used lemon juice as their main method of contraception," said [Melbourne reproductive scientist Mr. Roger] Short.
why is my first thought no wonder they invented the condom? Anyway there may be a grain of truth in it, who knows.

For sure! If i was a girl, I think that lemmon juice would be somewhere towards the bottom of my "List of things I want to put in me".
