Mother In Laws

My ex-mother in law used to ask how my bowel movements were whenever she phoned, almost immediately after saying hello. She is a retired Matron of the old school and I think it is drummed into all nurses from an early age. And did you know the Germans are also very fond of analysing their stools and that's why their toilets have a pan in them rather than the more common bowl.....

Anyway, I'll float off now as it is nearly dinner time

What a fantastic thread!

If you drop a good kilo or two what does that mean?

How on earth do you acheive an S shape?

There is more information on this thread than I ever thought I wanted to know and I'm reminded of the Australian I met in Nepal who said (at breakfast!)

"The two most important things in life are eating and sh*tting - so what colour was it this morning Sheila?"

I use the naval sillouette ID method.
Flotilla, subs, and supercarriers, etc

Best combo for me is a supercarrier with escorts

Ship ahoy!!!!

Now, is there a way to tell your health from the sound the Goan pigs make while doing needful?

First let me say that this thread has gotten really twisted (which in b.m. terms is probably not a good sign; may mean the intestines are constricted and convoluted... ).

Second, while i do know quite a bit about colon health (my friend still teases me about the wine induced sermon that i was giving on bowel health - whilst standing up on the kitchen counter - to three young men at a party), i only cut and paste "The Bowl Truth", from an article that i found when google searching "floating vs. sinking", just to clarify that bit.

And third, i nominate AvidTrekker as our staff poopologist since he seems to have a working knowledge of the way it all works.

If you gave a quasi technical speech even when tipsy, then we dont let go of these types easily, espeically on matters like these. :-)

What on Earth were you drinking??

lol - musta been my favorite wine at the time - some german white wine (think it's name translated to "mother's milk?) All i can recall of the night is watching these guys mesmerized by this intoxicated woman (me) getting on a soapbox about bowel health. They wanted to know all about their diets and if what they were eating could be causing problems. One of the more memorable parties, of those that i can remember

I heard that if the poop is sticky, it is not good. Of course, the pot has to be ceramic for this. If it is sticky, it might be diabetes. Like all medical claims, this also was said to be a possible indicator (not predictor/sure sign) of sugar imbalance.

Mine sinks always . Does it mean i am not healthy?

Off topic: What is the difference btw. a constipated owl and a marksman who cannot shoot straight?

The marksman shoots but cannot hit.
