India from July to September
India from July to September
Is it mad to go to India from July to September? I'm already going so I dunno why I'm asking, just want to be prepared I guess. We're flying to Delhi then planning on heading south. Any advie would be much appreciated. Ben
Does that mean that all those (including me) who are staying in India are mad?
Though the best season to travel in India is between Oct to February but much depends on the areas you want to visit.
Since this is monsoon time so definitely, it will be very humid, but if you plan to visit some hill stations you may enjoy he greenery. Some people like to visit beaches also in monsoon as there won't be any crowd and you can have whole of beach for yourself

Well, if it is mad, then I am too! I arrive early August, leave early October....
From everything I've read and from the people I've spoken to, yes, it's hot and humid, but that doesn't necessarily have to ruin your trip. Be prepared, go slow, be patient. Sort of a motto for life in general really!

Bueller? Bueller?
It's not the ideal time, but if that's the only time you got then I would say go for it! You should be able to bargain for rooms in alot of places and everything will be much more green and lush.
