I just love these toilet threads! Don't know why. I once thought I would write a book about all my toilet experiences while traveling.....think someone else actually did.

And, oh yes, you can get quite wet splashing water hither and thither

... Clothes, feet, and other bits & pieces

. I usually carry a tiny bar of soap for washing my hands afterward. Unlike tidy Nick, I often NEED some soap!

Soap is s standard feature in Indian toilets..cannot image life without a soap...

I am not sure if you guys know about paper soap...

infact soap should be available in all toilets C grade and above..

cannot say for worse than that..and please do not ask me to explain the grading system..I just cooked it up !!

It's in West Delhi past the airport, a long taxi ride from anywhere.

I am glad this came up. I was wondering myself about this. SO I get the whole splashing, washing your ass thing. Think it is going to be a little weird for a while but I will adjust. Are there towels in the bathrooms or do you just let it air dry. How does that work. Doesn't your clothes get all wet doing this or do you just get the hang of it. I am moving to India in July, I have never been so I am sure I have some adjusting to do.

We got a shock when we used the spray here in the new house.

We have a pressurised water system here

I'm just glad I never carried out my wild idea of connecting it to the hot water supply. Yes... solar water heaters really work in Chennai!
