Help- stuck without insurance!!

I'm kinda stuck at the moment.

I'm in SE Asia and my insurance has run out. I only planned to be away from the UK for a month but im now 3 months in, and dont plan to go abck until feb. My insurance only covered me for 90 days and when I asked, they couldn't extend it.

I've asked quite a few insurance companies and no one will insure me as im outside of the UK.

Can any one help me out? Anyone know of an insurer that will give me a policy even though im not in the UK?

I'm kinda desperate... bit stupid being out here with no cover, but I don't want to go home!

here is the catch with insurance. if you have a prexisting condition (and therefore really need the insururace) the new policy will not cover it. if you don't have a medical condition, I would just take the chance without insurance. medical care in east the fairly inexpensive..and most people don;t have it.. just a thought..

you can look into insurance in bkk from BUPA

better just to chance it and if you have problems - go to bumrungrad in bkk. thai medical treatment is best value for money on the planet. bumrungrad has usa accred.

be stupid...just dont BE STUPID. meaning, insure yourself by ensuring you dont do stupid and dangerous things from rock climbing, hiking to moto rides.
