heat/sweat rash?

Hello there,

last time I was in India I had this pretty unpleasant skin reaction....I was getting a rash on my arms and legs...and after considering all options, I finally concluded that it must be because of my own sweat (which was abundent..it's true). I have a sort of very white sensitive skin...

Did this happen to anyone else? And any solution found? except maybe stopping the sweating..hmm...

thanks!

I find that I get a rash where skin rubs against sweaty skin. If you can be sure those parts that get rashes are covered (so cloth rubs against cloth) you may be more comfortable.

yes, you are perfectly right, thanks. Those were the parts that I had problems with. I was of course wearing clothes on them...but hmm..probably not tight enough, so skin was rubbing against skin.... and the rash was really bad...

I should maybe bandage my knees and elbows with cloth ..lol....and put some calming balm on it. Now that's some equipment...outch....

Hello icetea,
You may have sort of urticaria,,,,,
The simple solution is to take some antihistamines, these are found in hay fever tablets, I know someone who this works for.
Theres some info about it HERE but like all these type of sites they also give the worst scenarios so as to cover themselves.

Hope the antihistamines help

try using talcum powder to help keep the skin dryer -- baby powder or a 'body powder' such as made by Gold Bond should help.
