Gym in Chennai

Hello there,

I'm going to have a month or so in Chennai and I was wondering if anybody knew of a decent air-conditioned gym where I could go and if so, the possibility of being a member for such a short time (and costs)

Thanks

There's one at The Park hotel where I stayed at recently. I'm fairly sure that they allow membership by non-resident guests. However, I doubt that memberhip would be cheap.

The last time I was in Chennai, I saw a few hoardings about the city advertising FitnessOne Club. Not sure about the rates though.

Depends on where ur stayin in the city. There are Fitness One health clubs in a couple of locations. Just call 044-26444444 and get the numbers for the nearest gym to your location.

Hope that helps

There is a gym called Talwalker's (I think it's part of a chain) in Indranagar in Chennai. I know of the Indranagar branch; there may be more in other parts of the city. I have a friend who is a member and she seems happy with the facilities.
