Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer??

I know it's an inconsequential question - but!!!

Is it possible to buy either Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer (or the Indian manufacturer's equivalent) easily throughout the country??

I don't know about throughout the country, but I know you can get it in Mussoorie. I imagine you can get it in most larger and touristy cities. Smaller villages and out of the way places probally not.

I noticed ginger beer on the supermarket shelf today.

Wouldn't like to estimate the ginger/chemicals balance of the contents, though.
