Gatorade / Powerade Availability in Kathmandu
Hi All,
I am having extreme difficulty in locating salt and glucose replacements, e.g. gatorade or powerade powder (to mix with water) in KTM. Heading off to EBC in 3 days and want to take some with me. Anybody able to help? If so, can you PM me as well as posting on here. All aid appreciated. Dave

Don't know about Gatorade etc., but if it's rehydration you're worried about, I recommend bringing several sachets of ORS (oral rehydration solutions) with you. They are easily available in KTM pharmacies and very cheap.
Alternatively, you can make your own rehydration solution by mixing a litre of water, half a spoon of salt and several spoons of sugar. |
