It's time to clean it out.

I'd take bleach and scrubbing brush to it.

In fact, when we used those containers that you upend a 20-ltr can on top of, I used to soak the thing overnight in a weak bleach solution.

Purified water from a very impure water dispenser or cooler is a great way to get ill.

absolutely. people were horrified to hear I that I flew 18 hours back from Chennai with salmonella food poisoning. people have actually told me that I am lucky to be alive (beacause I was so sick.) I can understand now how it kills children and old people!

but here lately over 900 people have died from tainted tomatoes (http://nutraingredients-usa.com/news...tomato-illness) and over 1 million a year just in the US get salmonella food poisoning.

you can get it anywhere! of course, if I had gotten sick here instead of Cochin, the restaurant would be have been shut down immediately and I could have sued their mangy butts....

i guess the problem is restaurants..with storage and preparation issues. Ive just come back from Darfur, and I didnt get sick there. But thats cos I was doing all my own food prep, i guess this is how our ancestors survived!!
