As for the second one, its a very general question ; and its been answered a few times too in the previous postings. Its not as if the OP is asking for an address and phone number of the dealers. Quote:

I have to agree with Davey. If IndiaMike were to become a place where such advice was handed out the entire site could be in trouble.
It's a pity Jennifericious didn't ask about getting sex in India: those threads are far more interesting and entertaining :laugh

I can't see anyone getting into trouble for discussing this stuff on a "public forum" the way it's handled. It's a perfectly legitimate if somewhat naive question and falls into the Indian fascination category, just like so many others asked here.

A lot of people seem to think they can just go to Goa and take drugs; they should listen to the members who have been there many times and warn of the dangers.
For this reason, I think a thread like this is valid, they can never say they weren’t warned. The biggest danger (assuming they get 'clean' drugs) is prison. In an Asian prison you soon stop worrying about the sickening violence, the rampant diseases, the heat, your family, and your freedom, after a short time you have only 3 dreams, a bottle of clean water, an edible meal and enough space to lay down flat on the dirty concrete floor and sleep for a couple of hours, you get so little sleep that you start hallucinating, you nod off for 2 or 3 minutes then wake up wondering where you are. For the first few weeks you ask yourself 'How did I end up here', after that you stop caring. If you think you can handle drugs, fine. If you think you can handle an Asian prison, your a fool and have already had too many drugs. Click on the link below for a post about my experience in a Thai jail. (I left out the bad bits.) It could never happen to me.....

Good Post Steven, brings it home pretty strong especially with whats happening to Australians in Bali at the moment in the Indonesian Gaols, I spent 7yrs 9 months in Long Bay Gaol, Working there and saw hundreds of drug related events and several deaths some by overdoses others by murders over drugs, I wonder if this thread could turn around to talk about some of the Indian Gaols and the actions of Police in handling drugs, that may help more than where can I get them

There is a fundamental fact about experimenting with drugs in India, which no one travelling to India should forget:
If you are coming to India only for this...try going somewhere else, because if you are caught, you will spend half of your remaining life waiting for a sentence and the rest of it serving the sentence.... SO DO NOT EVEN TRY IT !!! |

Fair enough 2Cents.
And I'm sorry for seeming like a butt. It just seems so obvious to me. Drugs are everywhere and you can get in trouble. I think the best way to go about nearly anything is to feel out a situation for yourself once you are there. And remember that you are responsible for your own actions. That said also Jennifer I apologize again for calling you stupid. Instead of falling prey to my own ego I should be offering genuine help or keeping my mouth shut. So here is the last thing I will say: Have you ever tried meditation? The bliss you get from knowing God, in my experience, far outweighs any drug induced effect. |

Yeah poor Jenny is in trouble now. Big brother or should I say Mother is watching you! Anyhow, having survived my drug mayhem on my first visit to Goa in the early 90´s (yeah they where selling acid like Icecream, well that was the feeling I got...) Im really glad and thankfull. I went back ten years later, and then it occurd to me what a full on Risk It had been. In your early 20´s you might think your above it all and it will never happen to you etc. But belive it or not Goa is watching you, People see moore than you think and the day The Bosses Boss tells the cops to bust someone It Might be you (sure thing 9 times out of ten you probably can get away with a bribe for a small bit of charas, but the next time?... Once in a while the cops will play the game buy the rules and Worse! They might even plant something on you... You might think your kewl now, well your not gonne be that cool when there is a couple of milatery looking cops flashing a torch at you in the middle of the night looking through your stuff, especially if you allso happen to be stoned or drunk or whatever. Its not a cool thing at all and it happens all the time... Im not even in that scene (I have never bought charas or been really in to it) But Ive been around it and Ive been searched buy the cops more than once or twice.... Seriously Im not saying dont do drugs, but If I ever decide to take something I KNOW Im WAY Much safer doing it in my own hometown. Here its Not such a big deal. In India it is a VERRY BIG DEAL AND A VERRY BIG RISK! Im Pretty sure chances are you beeing busted for drugs in India Is much larger than you ever catching Malaria or geting bit by a snake etc... Be carefull and aware. If your gonne get yourself in to trouble, do it at home, thats way more safe. I prommise. ![]()
