Doxycycline in Delhi

Hi people, Im off to my doctors shortly to order some malaria tablets for my trip but before I go and order 4 months worth is it cheaper in India.

If so is it easily available in Delhi (i.e. without prescription and it is found in most chemists).

If it is i'll prob only buy 2 weeks worth here and get the rest out there.

Doxycycline is available at every chemist shop. Technically it comes with a warning: " To be sold by retail on the prescription of a Registered Medical Practitioner only".
However, the sad reality is that most drugs can be bought in India
"over the counter".
The good news is that Doxycycline over here is priced cheaper than anywhere else in the world!

It is best taken around 11 a.m. - at mid-morning when the stomach is neither empty nor too full. If taken after food, absorption of the drug is affected, so its not effective.

Be wary of the sun at first if you are light skinned. Also, take a note of expiration dates since out of date Doxy is bad news. Works well for me..
