Everyone and their aunties advises to cover up in the evenings to avoid mossie bites.

But there seems to be one major flaw with this:
Wearing long pants and shirts makes you hot as hell doesn't it?

I'm heading to India in less than 10 days now. So its going to be really hot there. Am I really going to be able to bear putting long clothes on in that kinda weather? Especially in Raj.

Light baggy cotton stuff feels fine in the evening.

As m2 says, so long as you're wearing loose, cotton clothing you should be quite comfortable (or as comfortable as you can be in such high temperatures!!). During the day covering up will actually be more comfortable than not as it provides your skin protection from the sun.

I'm off to India in 3 weeks (also at hot monsoon time!) so I'd love to hear how you get on!! Have fun!

AS M2 says light cotton is ideal
When you arrive find a tailor and get yourself a whole load of tops and trouser made or buy ready made for very few rupees

Fisherman pants are very light comfortable and are perfect for most times of the day
I wear little else
