Could anyone get me a price for an MRI scan on the right knee? Obviously at a reputable private hospital, in any of the following cities:

about 50 to 70 us dollars.

If it is what I think it is, then the its costs around 6k in Delhi too.

sorry i was not taking into consideration the commission the referring doctors get. it is almost 50%.

need for contrast/dye injection

We cannot price them according to city basis.It depends on the Hospitals or the imaging centres.India is however the cheapest option for performing MRI SCAN compared to majority of the countries in the world. The average cost of MRI SCAN(Knee) in India should be about Rs.4000 - Rs.7000. You might be charged a bit extra in the metropolitan cities however.
For Kochin Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre Edapally is best and economical.
Thanks for all of the helpful replies. Do you have to have a referring doctor? My doc from home has told me what to tell the radiologist.
I think Sri Lanka (where I am at the moment) may be marginally cheaper than India on this score.
