Contact Lenses in India

I haven't touched a pair of glasses in years, since I lost/broke them all too soon and all too often, but contacts can be a hassle outside of the normal routine, so I will buy glasses once in India (this thread was helpful concerning this matter).

But, I will still bring contact lenses and I would like to know if it is easy to find solution as well as contact lenses as I can find here. If the contact lenses are less expensive (but not cheaper!!), I might as well bring some home as well.

No need to bring contact lenses, there are lots of optical shops in cities. You can buy international brands of lenses and solutions there. Can't tell you whether they are less expensive, as I don't have an idea how much you pay at home.

In noticed that the prices for the International brand contact lenses are much the same as in the West.
