Mal it's just ego, they don't think they'll get caught!

Which I suppose extrapolates to the stupidity you speak of.

Still wish the guy well though!

Living here in Mohali I am amazed how much good looking weed is growing taller than myself and just how many kilo's I walk past each day; it's wild man, really wild. Don't go by my avatar as I don't touch the stuff and no one else that is walking by does either it seems. No signs of any harvesting, not signs of anything just weed every where. Maybe there is something wrong with it or they just don't know what it is.

Let’s analyze this in the context of religion. When Christ was crucified only one of the thieves got saved because he realized his sin and repented. If it was free for all then both the thieves who where crucified with Christ should have been saved.

Quite apart from the fact that analysing anything in the context of religion (any religion) is not a favourite idea of mine, I am confused too with this.

You may be saying that compassion is selective. If that, I would agree with you.

Noodle's post of her friend's letter was one of the last posts that I read before being off-line for the past week.

Perhaps my reaction to it (I found it quite chilling) was rather more selfish than those of you other guys who have been discussing it since.

It said one thing, loud and clear, to me: don't screw around with the law in India; Just Don't.

That's exactly why I posted it. And 'chilling' is a good description. I've known the guy in all his glory, a strong, fit body, self confident, a gifted musician ... It's horrifying what became of him during this one year ...
