Wink Anti-Malaria Advice

Hi

I am heading to India at the end of October for 2 weeks and my doctor has not recommended anti-malaria tablets as I am going to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur which are all apparantly low risk areas, however I am also going to Ranthambore does anyone know if Ranthambore is also in the low risk area or if it is variable risk, as my doctor said if it was variable risk then I need to take the anti-malarias?
Secondly what does everyone think about taking the anti-malarias anyway just in case and what types can you take for the shortest time with least side effects?

Thanks
Debzi

PS Are there any types that are not in tablet form ie syrup or powder?

And drawing inspiration from the use of symbolic logic, wah, Delhi=people=standing water, etc. My landlord at untalis Prithvi Raj road caught it and looked awful. You would think I would have learned from that rather than the hard way. However, its a matter of probabilities so..

But, to actually deal with the OP, for a short trip Malarone is probably the best. Do note the conditions and be aware that any medical can involve side effects so that you know if its necessary to ditch it..
