thanks for the info malvin / goancanuck,amazing the medical service in goa,met a guy last year from scotland who had suffered for years with serious back problems,doctors told him he could not be cured.a friend put him on to a doc in mumbai who put him in touch with doc in goa,one week in private hospital in goa they removed the top of three discs in his back,cost £1,300 hes now fit as a fiddle.also informed being a smoker they even cleaned his lungs,i smoke so next day went by taxi to hospital see if they would clean mine,paid 25 rupees,saw the doc who took my blood presure,it was normal then had x ray,told me did not need cleaning but slight infection,gave me prescription,i was in and out in 40 minutes,thats what i call service.

I don't like the sound of that at all: I think I'd rather have my ears cleaned!!!!


And lungs get clean all by themselves after giving up. Or at least as far as the stuff in the atmosphere permits
