Where to go to see some tribal markets in Gujarat?

Hello,

We're going to Gujarat in January 2008. Last year we were in Orissa where we saw some intersting tribal markets. We'd like to see some tribal markets in Gujarat. Where to go? And which day of the week? We know that there is one in Anjar on Mondays but we'd like to know some other places. Any local fairs in January in Gujarat? Any melas? Or marriages?

We love markets!!

Thanks for your information.

In Gujarat there are few tribal markets "Haat" like in Orissa. You'll find some interesting tribal villages in the Rann Of kutch between Bhuj and Khavda but nothing to see with Orissa. For tribal markets go to Chhattisgarh in the Bastar district where the tribal population is around 75 %.
