What to do in 3 days at Ahmedabad?

Hello,

I will be in Ahmedabad for 3 days in January. What are the must see things in and around Ahmedabad that can be done in this limited time?

I would really wanted to visit Dwarka or Somnath. But I am not sure whether it is a viable option. Is there a way to do them quickly and return in just two days?

I would be happy if the experts here could answer both the part of my question.

calico museum
law garden night market
sangath
mosque of sidi sayed and the jami masid
gandhi ashram - an absolute must
pol houses in the old city

around ahmedabad

stepwells at adalaj and patan
sun temple at modhera - stunning

have a great trip

shouldn't be any trouble with being veggie, i think that it is a predominantly vegetarian city.

trying to remember places i ate - a lot of our meals we made ourself.
good veg pizza (baked beans, my favourite) at uncle sam's pizza.
had a really good, cheap meal at the night markets, and a lovely indian family gave us some home cooked chappatis to add to it, as well as explaining what we were eating.
'agashiye' in the house of mg was pretty swish - we had a vegetarian thali. the restaurant is a lovely rooftop terrace.
not sure of the costs, but i don't seem to remember spending too much money.
