Visiting Ahmedabad-Gujarat
Hello,
I need some advise, I have to visit Ahemdabad in April for couple of days in April. 1: what type of clothing should I carry as it will be very hot. 2: any suggestions for accomodation? I am from India but away for 35 years, I will have a collegue with me who is Canadian. 3: Would there be any plae near by where we can go to relax for couple of days? Hi,
April will be very hot... ( right now March is ...!! ) so carry light colored clothes... cotton is preferrable... full sleeves if you are planning to move around a bit... Accomodation... there are N number of hotels in Ahmedabad now... you'll have to specify budget.... Regarding places around Ahmedabad... again depends on where and what you want to see... Would suggest going through the posts here for better insights... Hope that Helps...

You could go to Diu
There are overnight sleeper buses that go to Diu from all major towns and cities in Gujarat(Rs.350-400). We boarded from Daman so it took us about 16 hrs. so it should take about 10-12 hrs from Ahmedabad. Or you could just fly down to Diu directly. Once in Diu rent a moped/scooter/motorbike, get a hotel and get all the relaxation you want... |
