which is the best time during the day to watch the activity of the fishermen in Vanakbara ?
after sunrise ? or is it not necessary to be there very early ?
or before sunset ...?

You mean the fishing hamlet at the western end of the island? Yes, I've heard the scene should be most lively at about sunrise, as it will be with many fishing communities. It's when the fishermen come in and offload their catch. There should be a ferry here to the mainland btw (if it's still there, and if we are thinking of the same place), probably fun for a ride to & fro.

I've been to Diu (in the later mid-1990's), but never made it here, so all this would be spurious. Maybe others can fill it in.

Amazing place. I visited about 1pm and this was the scene, I have the feeling there is always something going on here...

one of my certitudes to visit in gujarat end of this year !
