Hi

"looking for upscale vegetarian restaurant near Laldervaja, ahmedabad"

Just opposite the Sidi Saiyed Jali at Lal Darwaja is the House of MG's heritage hotel. On the roof top is the "Agashiye" restaurant, the "upperest" scale veg. restaurant. in Ahmedabad.

Its worth every penny. Even in the "deluxe" section, which is even pricier but air-conditioned. You get traditional food only, except the chocolate at the end.!

I second amdtraveller. House of MG's and Agashiye is the one you are looking for. An Upscare restaurant near Lal Darwaja.

If you wish to cross the Bridge (2-3 KMs) then you will have lot of options available.

On Ashram Road you will see Upper Crus, Couper Chimani, On Off Ashram Road you can goto Jungle Bhukh etc...

Above listed hotels are good in food and quality.
