Rajkot and Saurashtra
I shall be visiting Rajkot and Saurashtra early next year. Can you recommend any interesting sites in/around Rajkot for sightseeing. Any recommendations for accommodation in/around Rajkot is much appreciated.

You're welcome to stay with me at Rajkot....for free coz I'm not in the travel trade....and Sasan Gir Lion sanctuary is 3 hours by road from here, another 3 hours get you to Diu beaches.....Porbandar by the sea is nice too....two hours away is Modera (old Sun Temple with carvings on the lines of Konarak in Orissa).....Palitana Jain temples are a site too.......
