one more thing
I also meant to ask if it might be cheaper to hire a driver from Udaipur or MT ABU to get to Bhuj.

You can find luxury coaches from udaipur to bhuj directly, its really comfortable journey if you take luxury coach run by private operators like "shrinath travel", "patel travel" etc etc
Private driver or taxi would be costly compare to luxury buses. kashyap
